Lissachatina fulica

Native to East Africa, the African giant snail (Lissachatina fulica) stands in the list of the 100 most invasive and harmful animal species. It can live even 5-6 years and lays about 200 eggs every 2 months. Moreover it’s a carrier of the Angiostrongylus cantonensis, the nematode responsible of the eosinophil mening encephalitis © Giuseppe Mazza
