Family : Psittacidae
The Ara rubrogenys is a splendid member of the Psittacidae family living in nature in a restricted area of the Bolivian arid scrub close to the city of Cochabamba. Easily bred in captivity is now present in many zoological parks. Reaches 60 cm and about 60 years of age © Giuseppe Mazza
