Lyncina vitellus, Cypraeidae

Present in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Somalia and Madagascar, the Lyncina camelopardalis is a cowry living among the madrepores up to 30-40 m of depth. Of medium size, the shell has the back hazel-coloured with clear spots.
