Mainly present in shallow waters, in the eastern Pacific Ocean from the coasts of California to Peru and Galapagos, the shell of the Macrocypraea cervinetta reaches the 11 cm on a breadth of about 5 cm. The basic colour, reddish brown, with transversal paler bands and a longitudinal one, is dotted with whitish spots.
