Satyrus actaea Family : Nymphalidae The Satyrus actaea is almost indistinguishable from the Hipparchia statilinus but for minimal and imperceptible differences. Species frequenting quite arid habitats, is spread discontinuously all over Europe and in Central Asia. In some areas is strongly protected.
