Trichoglossus chlorolepidotus, Psittacidae

The Scaly-breasted lorikeet (Trichoglossus chlorolepidotus) gets its name from the yellow feathers displayed on the chest which is bright green so as to make them appear big scales. Of reduced size, it just exceeds the length of 20 cm, lives in the eastern part of the Australian continent where it is sometimes very numerous © Giuseppe Mazza
